I have been working here for about two months, and still have not received a name plate for my office. Apparently, the expected wait time for such a plate is between four and six months, and it's not uncommon for employee names to be misspelled by the printers. This morning I decided to take a crack at it, and after five minutes on Microsoft Word, I had what I believe to be a pretty passable (if flimsy) substitute, printed on paper. If you want something done right, you've got to do it yourself.
